The Garden Club of Sealy recently announced the Yards of the Month for September, one for business and one for a home. The Business Yard of the Month was chosen as the Sealy American Legion Hall at 1630 Meyer Street.

AL&M Building Supplies in Sealy recently made donations to local fire departments in honor of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The Sealy Tiger fall tennis squad opened district play with an emphatic, 19-0 sweep of Navasota last Tuesday on the road. All of Sealy’s representatives won their matches to start the district slate on solid footing.

The Faith Academy Knight football team got back to its winning ways last Friday night at SAB Stadium against Brazosport Christian, 60-12. Head Coach Trey Carter’s crew controlled the game from the opening kickoff.

The Sealy Lady Tiger volleyball squad opened play within District 24-4A last week with a win over Royal and a loss to Bellville. Sealy was scheduled for two road trips this week to Wharton on Tuesday and Navasota on Friday.
