Gladys Marie (Franke) Leschper, 86, of Sealy, passed away Jan. 17, 2024, in College Station. She was born Aug. 10, 1937, in Industry to Bennie and Sveedie (Koslovsky) Franke. She attended schools in New Ulm and Industry before graduating from Bellville High School in 1956.

The Sealy Lady Tigers ran their winning streak up to five district games in a row while moving to 8-1 in District 25-4A with a 49-29 win over Bellville last Friday night at home. The win leaves Sealy firmly in second place in the district standings with a scheduled showdown with Navasota Jan. 30 on the road.
