Austin County 4-H Quiz Bowl Teams advanced from District 11 competition and competed in the State 4-H Roundup Livestock Quiz Bowl contest June 7-10 at Texas A&M.

Emma Eckelberg, Brooke Diezi, Stewart Poffenberger and Morgan Hesters represented Austin County and rocked the contest to earn the title of State Champion Team. To top it off, Hesters was named High Point Individual overall.

Ashleigh Sherrer, Colten Havemann, Pati Cantu, and Ashlin Gordon also represented Austin County and did a fantastic job coming together as a new team by studying the resources and learning how to play with only one previous game played under their belts.

We couldn’t be more excited for everyone to earn their well-deserved accolades. Way to represent Austin County and District 11!
