The Bellville Brahmanette basketball team competed in the Weimar tournament last week and earned a 3-3 record where they won the consolation bracket with a 40-37 win over Schulenburg. Senior Neelie Schiel was named to the all-tournament team for her efforts. Bellville had the early part of this week off and will open play within District 24-4A Friday at home against El Campo.
