When Sealy senior Nick Martinez hit the game-winning shot to beat El Campo in overtime, 60-57, it secured the third home win for the Tigers in as many chances last Friday night after both soccer teams registered 1-0 wins over Navasota to collect a Sealy sweep.

Carlos Reyes’ game-winning goal lifted the Sealy Tiger soccer team last Friday and secured the second of three home wins for the black and gold in as many chances that night. It was the first goal of the district season for Reyes.

The Sealy Lady Tiger softball squad hosted the East Bernard Brahmarettes last Friday for its first home scrimmage and head coach Brittney Whitehead has been pleased with the team’s performance through two preseason contests.

The Sealy Lady Tiger basketball squad wrapped up its regular season last week with losses to Navasota at home on Tuesday and El Campo on the road on Friday and seniors Marleeza Williams, Brylie Bond, Heaven Hernandez, Megan Schaaf and Avery Oliver closed their high school basketball careers.
