It is an absolute pleasure for Amy and me to be back at The Sealy News! This is the community that we love, and we promise to do extraordinary things for the Austin County area.

As most of you know, Amy Lieb is my oldest daughter and one of the best bookkeepers in the business. As a busy mother of two young children, she still finds the time to come up with fresh ideas for The Sealy News. We are successful because we can bounce off each other’s strength and steadfast respect for each other. Between the two of us, we have more than 30 years’ experience in media and management.

This newspaper is a passion for Amy and me. As our community has always had our back, so shall we have yours. Your trust and support of us speak volumes and it is a pleasure to work with you all again. We are honored to have readers and clients like you. We hope that you will continue to stand by our side in this new/old endeavor of promoting our community.

Cole McNanna held down the fort steadfast and was a continued force of positivity in our absence. It was for those reasons, and more, that it made perfect sense to promote him as Managing Editor. It is well deserved. We know that Cole will help us in supporting Granite Publication’s mission of One Team, One Vision, One Goal.

I hope that you enjoy our newest addition to our team, Amanda Luksha. Amanda will head our sales efforts and assist in getting The Sealy News back on track so that we can include more of what you enjoy reading. Please give her a call at our office (979-885-3562) to have your business highlighted in the newspaper, as we need your support more than ever.

Your input, ideas and enthusiasm are most helpful and welcomed. We will continue to build strong relationships from the past and create new ones in the future with the goal of bringing you the best news, entertainment, sports and more.

Your kindness and support are the reasons that I decided to return to The Sealy News. Thank you for your devotion and encouragement, and for all that you do to make a difference in the lives of our community!
