MARGARETH MARIE KONARIK SUSEN

April 21, 1947 – March 5, 2025 

Margareth Marie Konarik Susen, aka Margie, was born to Johnnie and Georgia Konarik on April 21, 1947, in Sealy. She graduated from Sealy High School and has been a resident of Sealy for the majority of her life. After high school, she attended an accounting college, which was the beginning of her career in the field of accounting.

At that time, she also purchased her first car, which was a 1966 Ford Mustang. She often talked about how it was her favorite car and wished she would have kept it. She had many jobs in the accounting field, with her last being at Grundfos Pump Corp in Brookshire. Once her retirement life began, she kept busy traveling all over the US due to grandchildren who were and are actively involved in select softball and the US Army.

She put many miles down on the road watching and visiting them and always being told, “Don’t look at the speedometer.” She also discovered a liking for camping, going to the mall, and being a night owl with late-night talks between soft snores. Her drink of choice became a good Moscato on special occasions or with a good meal. She took after her mom and dad with a love for music and dancing. She was not afraid to hit the dance floor at any opportunity she had.

She loved her daughters and sons-in-law deeply, but her love for her grandchildren was fierce. Everything about her will be missed tremendously and yes, even the things that got on our “nervous systems” because they were her. We love all of her.

Margareth Marie Konarik Susen, “Margie,” on March 5, 2025, surrounded by family, left this temporary world to become a permanent resident in the heaven above with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her children Kelly R Snyder, husband Peter Snyder, Vanessa K Trichel, husband Leonard Rogers, grandchildren Tyler Snyder, Keegan Snyder, Raygan Snyder and Dillion Rogers. Stepgrands Scott Rogers, Matthew Rogers, and Kayleigh Augustine Rogers. Nephew Jeffrey and Kelly Hinze, nieces Kerry and Jeff Kovar, Fallon and Robert Navarro, Whitney and David Torres, and Caitlin and DJ Janosky along with many great nieces and nephews. Brother Johnnie Konarik and sister-in-law Karen Konarik.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Georgia Konarik, sister Georgia Lynn Hinze, brother-inlaw Randy Hinze, mother- in-law Louise Susen, and granddaughter, Lillian Star Rogers.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Knesek Family Funeral Chapels.
