It is with deep love and sorrow that Edward (“Ed”) Janda, born in Sealy, Texas, on February 28, 1943, passed into the loving arms of God on Jan. 29, 2026. Edward was an extraordinary man, a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather.

Ed enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking BBQ, going to the lake, playing golf with his wife Charlene, and sitting on the porch with a cold drink in hand. Ed will be truly missed by all.

Ed is survived by his daughter Stacey Janda- Bolden, and her two children Amory Janda- Johnson and Benjamin Bolden; his son Wade Janda and daughter- in-law, Angelica Janda, and their three children Gavin Janda, Gabriella Janda, and Grace Janda; his sister Judy Calendar, his sister Mary Marcinkiewicz, his brother Jerry Janda, and his brother Johnny Janda.

The funeral services of Edward will be combined with his late wife Charlene Janda, who passed on Dec. 4, 2020, to celebrate both of their lives together.

Services will be held on Friday February 20th at 3 PM at: Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 608 5th. Street Sealy TX 77474 Followed by a short reception
