Dana Lynn Filip Brzozowski, 46, was called home on July 8, 2022, in Wallis, Texas. Dana was born to the parents of Robert Worth (Bobby) and Irene Louise Schroeder Filip on August 10, 1975, in Bellville, Texas. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in Wallis. She attended Brazos schools, graduating in 1993. Dana was employed by Dr. Gary and CJ Aber at Simonton Veterinary Clinic for 25 years who became her extended family.

Dana was united in marriage to Johnny Brzozowski on July 21, 2001, and they were blessed with two sons, Grant Allen and Carson Ray. She was a proud Mama of her boys to whom she referred to as “My Beautiful Boys.” She enjoyed supporting them in all they did from cross coun try to rodeoing and she never missed an event. She also enjoyed spending time with family and shopping for antiques.

Dana is joined in Heaven by her sister Donna Kay Jaloway; grandparents Erwin and Martha Teichmann Schroeder, and Emil and Agnes Mikes Filip; aunts and uncles Ruby and JW Schmitt, Bernice and Raymond Fuchs, Emily and Victor Butler, Vlasta and Ervin Toellner, Elzadie Filip, Johnnie and Gladys Filip, and Victor and Beatrice Filip. Dana leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband Johnny; sons Grant and Carson; parents Bobby and Irene Filip; sister Brenda and Travis Kosik; brother Billy and Kerrie Filip; brother-in-law Patrick Jaloway; niece Lindsey and Greg Hluchan; nephews Jeremy and Amanda Jaloway, Tyler Jaloway, Broc and Rachel Glover, Logan Filip, and Bradley and Tanner Cudd; great niece and nephews Aleeya Jaloway, Kye Jaloway, Granger and Gideon Hluchan; uncles Melvin and Cathy Schroeder, Freddie Filip; other survivors include numerous cousins, relatives, and many dear friends.

To know Dana was to be loved by her. She embraced you with her beautiful smile and a hug. She showed love in all she did and was beautiful in every way. Dana was our angel on earth, and she will be truly missed.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Knesek & Son Funeral Home, Wallis, Texas.
