Benito “Ben” Rodriguez Jr., 79, of Columbia, MO (formally from Sealy) passed away June 30, 2024. He was born Feb. 24, 1945, in Eagle Lake, to Benito and Juanita Rodriguez. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Casares Rodriguez, on Jan. 28, 2018 and his sister, Wanda Graham.

Survivors include his sons and daughters- in-law, Edward “Eddie” and Brenda Rodriguez of Pasadena, and Andrew and Pamela Rodriguez of Columbia, MO. He is also survived by his grandchildren Cassie and Gabriel Padron, Hannah Rodriguez, Alexander Rodriguez, and Jennifer Rodriguez; as well as five great grandchildren.

He leaves behind brothers and sisters, Maria Reyes of Eagle Lake, Elizabeth Nutt of Pasadena, Elida Teresa Moore of Bellaire, Mercedes Ministero of Houston, Rod Rodriguez of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Larry Falcon Moore .

Memorial service was held Saturday, July 27 at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall, Sealy.
