ROSALEE CAROLE HARDMAN
Rosalee “Rosy” Carole Hardman, 62, passed unexpectedly in Katy, Texas on June 6, 2024. Rosy was born on July 8, 1961, to James Beecher “J.B.” and Bobbie Joe (Knight) Davidson in Snyder, Texas. She moved with her family to the Houston/Sugar Land area at a young age, where she attended HSPVA and graduated from Dulles High School in 1979. Rosy went on to study Fashion Merchandising and Design at Wade College.
After years of friendship and missed connections with Wesley, timing fell into place, and they married in 1984. They lived together in Sugar Land, for 23 years before planting a pecan orchard in Sealy, in 2008. Together they raised two children and became grandparents in January 2020. Wesley and Rosy were married for 36 years when he was tragically taken in June of 2020. Over the last four years, Rosy found new friendships and companionship as she focused on her blessings and enjoyed the little things that made life good… a silly joke, a good meal, sweet tea with lemon, good ice, fresh tomatoes, a little piece of dark chocolate, and a pop of lipstick.
Anyone who knew Rosy knew that she was the most loving mother and “GaGa” a family could ask for. She is survived by her two children, Rachel (Spouse: Ryan) and Jonathan, and grandchildren, Elena and Hayden, and companion, Carey. She also leaves to cherish her memory one sibling, Becky, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Rosy was preceded in death by her spouse, Wesley, her father, “JB”, her mother, Bobbie, and her brothers, Jimmy and Paul.
To celebrate her life and memory, there will be a service held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the Schmidt Funeral Home Grand Parkway located at 1344 West Grand Parkway South, Katy, Texas 77494 with Chaplin Daniel Schramm officiating. A reception will immediately follow.
