Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at approximately 10:40 p.m., the Austin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance at 312 Pecan Grove Road, Sealy, Texas.

Once on scene, deputies encountered an armed suspect who fired at least one round at deputies. As a result, deputies returned fire and fatally wounded the suspect.
