Nov. 4, 1960 – Sept. 28, 2025

Gregory Allen Stewart, age 64, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sept. 28, 2025. He was born on Nov. 4, 1960, in Houston, to Mack and Betty Stewart. In 1976, the Stewart family relocated to Sealy for the next 18 years and Greg settled in the area thereafter.

Greg attended Sealy schools and quickly became a familiar face and friend to many. His love for music began early—at just 15, he joined a local band, setting the tone for lively adventures. Greg had a big heart for family and friendships. He became a proud father in 1989 with the birth of his son, David Stewart.

In 2002, Greg married Linda Clayton, and joyfully welcomed her daughters, Amber and Crystal, into his heart. In 2018, the arrival of their youngest daughter, Lillian, affectionately known as “Lily Bug,” brought Greg immeasurable joy. Their special bond was evident to

all who knew them.

Greg is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Linda Stewart, his children David (Katie) of Houston, Amber Clayton of Bellville, Crystal (Leighton) Konvicka of Sealy, and Lillian Stewart of Bellville. He is also survived by his loving parents Mack and Betty Stewart and brother Charles (Peggi) Stewart of Houston. Greg leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren, sisters and brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
