Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in Austin and Colorado Counties are partnering with Texas Parks and Wildlife to host a Feathers, Furs, and Farming program July 9.

The focus of this program will center around Laws and Trespassing. Topics covered will include “What You Need to Know about Conservation Easements,” “Navigating Hunting Leases – Do’s and Don’ts,” and “Ask the Game Warden.” For the session on “Ask the Game Warden,” we encourage attendees to submit their questions to either the Austin or Colorado County Extension office prior to the event. You will have the opportunity to submit questions anonymously the day of the event as well. The event will be held at the American Legion Hall at 1630 Meyer Street in Sealy, Texas. Registration will be from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m., with the program set to begin at 1:30 p.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m. Cost of attendance is $20 per person.

Any questions can be directed to the Austin County Extension Office at 979-865-2072, the Colorado County Extension Office at 979-732-2082, or Mark Lange - TPWD Wildlife Biologist for Colorado/Austin Counties at 979-732-3458.
