Sam Houston State University recently awarded academic recognition to students who excelled in the classroom and Austin County alumni were among the honorees.

Twenty-six landed on the Dean’s List with at least a 3.5 GPA and eight of those students also earned President’s Honor Roll distinction for achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA.

The students listed on the Dean’s List of Academic Honors at Sam Houston State are undergraduates who have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.5 out of a perfect 4.0 in all work attempted while enrolled in not less than 12 semester hours.
