Helping One Another (HOA) participants take an active role in the five-program series Be Well, Live Well. Be Well, Live Well is offered free of charge to new retirees and active adults by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.

The series is currently being offered at HOA in Sealy, Texas. The series promotes independence through healthy aging and is targeted toward adults nearing or in early retirement. The lively and informative sessions are delivered in a casual, social atmosphere.

Each session includes a self-assessment, information sharing, goal setting, a recipe demonstration, and of course free program incentives for all participants. Upon completion of each session, participants will receive materials that extend that session’s goal.

Anyone wishing to participate, the next class is set for Friday, Oct. 6 at 11 a.m. at HOA Meals on Wheels of Austin County located at 915 Frydek Rd, Sealy.
