The Angel Tree has returned to the lobby of The Sealy News’ office at 327 Fowlkes Street. The annual effort to spread holiday cheer to residents of Silver Lake and The Oaks retirement homes is off and running once again.

Locals can stop by the office, pick out an ornament that features a resident’s holiday wish, purchase the gift and return it to the office – wrapped and with the ornament – before Dec. 13. The gifts will then be handed out to the residents to ring in the holiday season.

Stop by soon because the ornaments are flying off the branches! The Sealy News is now located in downtown Sealy across from Bill’s Country Market on the corner of Fourth and Fowlkes Streets and is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
