Bellville Police Department announced two arrests were made Thursday night, Jan. 27, after an incident where shots were fired at The Hill restaurant in Bellville. No other parties outside of the arrested individuals were injured.

Charles Dean Olsen, 62, was arrested and charged with deadly conduct and Ian Neasham, 19, was arrested for unlawful carrying of weapon, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana according to BPD’s Thursday night statement.

“Two men were arrested and charged after a ‘shots fired’ was called in at 7:02 p.m. on Thursday night from The Hill, located at 758 West Main Street in Bellville. Law Enforcement arrived on scene to learn that the shooter had fled the scene. The shooter was later found at his residence in Bellville by Bellville Police and DPS,” BPD’s announcement said. “The shots fired incident took place after a verbal and physical exchange outside of the restaurant between the two subjects and an additional third party. One round was shot striking the wheel/tire of Neasham’s vehicle. Olsen sustained minor injuries during the incident at The Hill and was treated by Austin County EMS and the Bellville Medical Center. No other parties were injured. Both subjects will be booked into the Austin County Jail. There is no further information at this time.”
