Lois L. Mann, 77, died instantly on February 15, 2021, in a head-on collision with another car turning in front of her near her Winter home in Davenport, FL.

Lois was born and educated through high school in Wichita, KS. She held Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education and taught in elementary and middle schools in Iowa and Texas for most of her working life.

Lois is survived by her first husband Donald Jerome Tewell, the father of her sons, Randall and his wife Tonia Tewell, Scott and his wife Charlene Tewell, and Ryan and Elizabeth Pozzi. Her second husband, Fred Blair preceded her in death in 2012. His children Shelley Cauble, Rob Blair, and Brian Blair and their spouses survive as well as a combined total of 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews. Surviving siblings are James L. Mann and his wife Lorraine of Palm Beach, FL and Linda L. Mann of Santa Fe, NM. A brother Herbert L. Mann of Houston, TX preceded her in death in 2012. His wife, Janet Mann, resides in Houston, TX.

Celebrations of her life will be scheduled in Wallis, TX at the headquarters of the Greater Houston Soaring Association on April 10th at 9:00 a.m., and in Kingman, KS at the Mann Family Farm as COVID-19 restrictions allow. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Kingman, KS where her parents, Raymond Lee and Irismae Mann are buried along with generations of other members of the Mann family.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts in her name may be made to Meals on Wheels in her Florida community, First Wallis Baptist Church in Wallis, TX and the Greater Houston Soaring Association.
