So, what happens when you get a group of 12–14-year-old softball girls together for the first time and you set them loose on the all-star circuit? If they are as talented as the Sealy Junior Girls team, you are packing your bags and getting ready to fly out to Washington for the Little League Girls Softball World Series. This band of 10 girls have gone undefeated in earning a berth at the World Series and now will face off against their stiffest challenge on that journey.

Iwas reluctant to come back from Mexico this spring, knowing it would still be cold and wet and cloudy. But I’d gotten used to looking for pretty things while in Mexico.
