The University Interscholastic League announced its biennial district realignment for football, volleyball and basketball Thursday morning, Feb. 3.

Sealy and Bellville’s football district remained the same with the addition of West Columbia and the volleyball and basketball districts also remained intact with the addition of Needville. Both were opponents of Sealy’s two alignments ago.

The football district also remained in Region III but the volleyball and basketball districts were moved from three to Region IV.

Similarly in Wallis, Brazos’ football district added only one school, Boling, but the volleyball and basketball district remained the same. All of the district groupings remained in their respective regions as well.

Stay tuned for full reactions from local coaches.
