The Orchard Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting Monday, Oct. 4 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Orchard Baptist Church, Vineyard on the corner of Sabine and Galveston Streets, Orchard.

St. Paul A.M.E Church will be serving Turkey and Dressing with Trimmings Lunches Sunday, Oct. 10, at 400 San Felipe Street in Sealy. The Sealy Knights of Columbus will be serving their Famous Fish Fry Drive Thru Dinner Friday, Oct. 8, at the Sealy Columbus Club (KC) Hall at 1310 Hwy 90 West, Sealy from 5:30-7:15 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Sealy Pregnancy Resource Center.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sealy Cemetery (768 Fourth Street), the Sealy Area Historical Society is hosting a cemetery marker cleaning event. Learn how to clean your family markers and help clean historic markers to help preserve the Sealy Cemetery. Help rake leaves and remove brush.
