Another great Meet for the Sealy Men’s Powerlifting. The Sealy boys powerlifting team came away with another strong finish last week at the Rice Consolidated Swamp Powerlifting Meet.
Lady Tigers basketball ready for post-season challenge With a playoff berth firmly in its grasp, the Sealy Lady Tigers are now setting their sights on finishing the season strong and then taking the next step in the Class 4A playoffs. “We still want to come out and play and finish out the season like I know we can,” said Sealy Head Girls Basketball Coach Brateicka Mock.
The Brazos girls powerlifting team captured first place and the boys took home a fourthplace finish in the Brazos Powerlifting Meet held recently. “Everyone competed very well during this meet, this was our 4th meet of the year for our athletes and they continue to grow as not only individuals but also as a team.
The Sealy boys’ powerlifting team participated in the Waller Bulldog meet recently and came away with a firstplace finish. “It was a great outing for the Sealy boys’ powerlifting team at the Waller Bulldog Meet,” said Sealy Head Powerlifting Coach Jimmie Osborne.
The Sealy Lady Tigers have clinched at least a third place finish out of District 25-4A with two district games left on the season. Sealy trails Navasota and Royal in the district standings as the season winds down.
Lady Tigers take time off to focus on teamwork With the start of district play set for next week, Sealy Head Girls Soccer Coach Sydney Jones believes her Lady Tigers are primed and ready for the district competition ahead. “I think we are where we need to be,” Jones said.
The Sealy boys powerlifting team participated in the Waller Bulldog meet last week and came away with a first-place team championship trophy. Sealy took first place finishes in the 114 pound class with Maurice Wigfall taking first with a total lift of 650 pounds.
