Marik ready for challenge of retooling Tigers next year When this year’s playoffs began, Sealy Head Baseball Coach Charles Marik was ready for a nice run in the playoffs with his senior-led team. Unfortunately, that dream ended last Monday when Navarro completed a twogame comeback and eliminated the Tigers from the Class 4A playoffs.

When Brazos prepared for its area playoff matchup with Orangefield, Brazos Head Baseball Coach Christopher Bright knew his Cougars were in for a battle of major proportions. And even though the Cougars were swept in the area round, Bright said he still believes this team left a legacy that will only make the program stronger in years to come.

Sealy Tiger baseball sweeps Bay City, next up Navarro Coming into its bi-district round series against Bay City, Sealy Head Baseball Coach Charles Marik believed his team was ready for a playoff run and the Tigers came out and showed they are ready with a twogame sweep of Bay City. “The boys played well,” Marik said.
