On December 9, 2021, our beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Riley Gene Ondruch, entered into eternal life. He was born on March 28, 1938, in Sealy, Texas to parents Frank and Mary Jane Ondruch.

Those that love and will miss him are his son, Michael Eugene Ondruch and wife Pamela, daughter Mary Melinda Krampitz, her son Andrew Krampitz and wife Erin, along with their children Haden Michael, Danni Brooke, Finley Rae, Sawyer Ryanne and Margo Erin and, daughter Mary Annette Kehoe and husband Ted and their children Emily Rose, Neil Arnold and Conor Michael.

Riley will also be missed by his sister, Bernice and husband Mike Elder, brother Roy Ondruch and wife Debbie, along with their children, Callie Mund and husband Brice, their children Brylie Elise, Carson Hayes and Leighton Mae and, Owen Ondruch and wife Sarah along with their children Camden Elliott and Kenedy Price and sister Irene Sheffel along with her children, Mary Anne and Scott Evan.

Riley was predeceased by his wife of sixty-one years, Mary Alice, and by his parents, Frank and Mary Jane Ondruch, brother, Ernest Ondruch, and nephew, Christopher James Elder.

Riley graduated from Sealy High School in 1956. He then attended Massey Business College Computer Technology School. Then worked in the computer field until retiring in the year 2000. He had a very strong work ethic, loved the outdoors, barbecuing for family gatherings, and was an avid fan of the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, and Texas A&M Football.

Riley’s happiest moments were time spent with family and being out on the family property that he extremely cherished and lived on for almost his entire life.

Friends were cordially invited to a visitation on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, with the family beginning at noon at the Immaculate Conception Church in Sealy, Texas. There was a rosary at 1:30 p.m., a mass following at 2:00 p.m., and burial following in the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Riley would prefer to be remembered with a donation to the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund, P.O. Box 337, Sealy, Texas 77474.

The family also extends a heartfelt thanks to the various caregivers who provided for Riley including, Allumine Hospice.

Though his smile is gone forever, and his hand we cannot touch, still, we have so many memories of the one we love so much. His memory is our keepsake with which we will never part. God has him in his keeping, we have him in our hearts.
