Renee Hinze, 37, of Sealy and formerly of Wharton passed away suddenly on Monday, March 7, 2022, in Louisiana. She was born on July 4, 1984, to W. Carl Hinze, III and Deborah Lee Chudalla Hinze.

Renee was a graduate of James Madison High School. She worked at Hinze Bar-B-Que in Sealy baking and helping run the family business. Renee loved her three children fiercely. She would take them hunting and fishing. She also was in the stands cheering for her sons, while they played baseball. She had a deep love for her savior, Jesus Christ. Renee was preceded in death by her grandparents, W.C. and Rosemary Hinze and Ernest Chudalla; and cousin, Dustin Chudalla.

She is survived by her children, Ty Andrew Smitley, Caden Tripp Smitley and Hailey Renee Horton all of Sealy; parents, W. Carl, III and Debbie Hinze of Sealy; brothers, Travis Hinze and wife, Kelley of Katy and Scott Hinze and wife, Phyllis of Sealy; grandmother Juanita Chudalla of Wharton; fiancée, Jamie Felder of St. Francisville, LA; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Wharton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life followed at 11 a.m. with Rev. Meredith Wende Mills officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Jacob Hinze, Myles Kubicek, Kole Kubicek, Andy Korenek, Philip Marek, Michael Hopkins and Alex Felder.
