Loretta Koy Dziadek sadly passed away March 27, 2024.

She was a wonderful mother and loving grandmother who was always there when we needed her. Loretta was born to the parents of Hilda and Woodrow Koy. She was baptized in 1939 and confirmed in 1952 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sealy, graduated from Sealy High School in 1956 and attended business school in Houston.

After a brief career working in downtown Houston, Loretta began her lifelong career as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Loretta married Leo Dziadek Jr. Dec. 30,1961 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sealy.

Loretta and Leo then relocated to the Corpus Christi area and bought a house in Taft. In 1972 Leo, Loretta and two children, Alice and Russell, moved to Sealy to their forever home. Shortly thereafter Loretta’s third child, Lisa, was born.

Over the years, Loretta was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aid, and Sealy AARP. She was an avid reader, enjoyed baking desserts, watching sports and spending time with her family and friends.

Loretta is survived by her children, Alice Strohm of Katy, Russell Dziadek and wife Sheri of Sealy, Lisa Corbin and husband Si of Cave Springs, Ark., brother Larry Koy and wife Barbara Koy of Sealy, sister-in-laws Mildred Borden of Katy and Dorothy Dziadek of Houston, grandchildren Miklayee, Hannah and Sydnee Strohm, Courtney, Lindsey and Mason Dziadek, Emily and Drew Corbin.

Preceded in death by husband, Leo Dziadek, parents Woodrow and Hilda Koy.

Funeral services for Loretta Koy Dziadek, 86, will be held Sunday, April 7, at Trinity Lutheran Church located at 402 Atchison Street in Sealy at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ken Bersche officiating. Interment following in the Sealy Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 6 from 2-4 p.m. at Knesek Funeral Home located at 768 4th Street in Sealy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to Trinity Lutheran Church of Sealy.
