Dellany Shane Gross, “Dell,” passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2022, at 46.

Dell was survived by his wife, Lisa: his sons, Michael and Robert; his daughters Janice, Maia, Elizabeth, and Marley; his grandchildren, Eleana, Elias, and Roman; his parents, Robert and Patricia Gross, two sisters, Barbara and Tina and may other family members who loved him dearly.

Dell was born in Ocean Springs, MS, where he spent his childhood. At 16, his family moved to his beloved Texas, where he chose to remain and raise his family.

Besides his family and friends, Dell loved his job and co-worker. Dell found his life’s passion when he went to work at Hobby Lobby. Then he blossomed, finding a true trade in the framing department. During those initial first months, he was without a car and had to hitchhike and walk about 7 miles to get to work. Then, things started to get better, and with the help of his bosses and co-workers, he became a professional framer. He was very good at his job and made job excellence one of his life’s priorities.
