Brenda Joyce Allison Alexander passed away on August 21, 2022 at the age of 75 in Katy, Texas. She was born September 14, 1947 to parents Virginia Green Allison and Duncan Allison. Her hometown was Muncie, Indiana. She graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1965 then studied at Ball State University and the University of Texas, graduating with a Bachelor of Science of Nursing (BSRN).

In 1983 she and Dennis moved to Sealy, Texas where they raised their two sons and were involved in many community and school events. Brenda worked at Methodist Hospital on the Neurology floor for several years and then worked as a Home Health nurse for two years helping many people. She had to stop working because of her disease which made her unable to walk. Brenda was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy and was a member of the Catholic Daughters. She taught CCE classes and helped with RCIA. She is survived by her son James and wife Deborah; grandchildren, Dillion, Isabella, Brooklin, Jaksin and Keegan; mother Virginia Green Allison from Noblesville, Indiana, sister Linda Cross of Indiana and brother Joseph Allison of New York. She is preceded in death by her son Brian Alexander, father Duncan Allison, sister Judy Harrell and brother Bruce Allison. A funeral mass will be Thursday, September 22 at 11:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with a rosary at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery immediately following.

Brenda had a good heart. She was a kind, loving and a loyal friend. She will be missed by many. A special thanks to Rachel Norton who has been Brenda’s caretaker for many years. She was not only her caretaker, but also her friend.
