Norman E. Sterns Sr. Of Sealy passed away on Feb. 21, 2021 at Veranda House in Sealy. He was born Nov. 27, 1937, son of Cecil P. Sterns Sr. & Bernice. Preceded in death by parents & brother C. P. Sterns Jr. Survivors include wife Carlene Wright of San Felipe. He had 8 children by previous marriages. 12 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild. His request: no services or memorial.

Delton Hegemeyer was born October 19, 1940, in New Ulm, Texas, the son of Reinhardt W. and Wilma Gross Hegemeyer. Delton was united in marriage to Lillie Morgan Hegemeyer on December 19, 1959, at Welcome Lutheran Church and enjoyed 61 years of marriage.

Johnnie Lee “Buck” Fountain died on Friday, February 19, 2021. He was 80 years old. Johnnie was a long-time resident of Sealy, Texas, for almost 44 years. Johnnie was born to Claude and Ola May Fountain on August 28, 1940, in Starks, Louisiana. He attended and graduated from Starks High School. Johnnie met his wife, Doris Ann Zapalac, from Sealy, Texas, and shortly wed at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Houston, Texas, on November 28, 1964. They were married for 57 years. They lived in Spring Branch for 13 years before moving to Sealy in 1977, where they made their lifelong home. Johnnie and Doris have two children: Kimberly LaShalle Rychlik and her husband, Garrett, of Cypress and Shannon Le’Nae and her husband, Everett Bubak, of Sealy.

HELEN MARIE MCCARTER JOHNSTON

Helen Marie McCarter Johnston was born on May 22, 1930 in Newport, Tennessee to Ruby and Forrest McCarter. The family relocated to Galena Park Texas after the death of Forrest and Ruby married E.H. Levy. Helen became the proud big sister of Kathy and Jimmy Levy who she adored and remained dose with all her life. She attended Galena Park High School where she was active in band, acapella choir, volleyball, junior stunt night, and the H.E. play.

EMILIAN JOHN KAMINSKI

Emilian John Kaminski was born to Mary Koteras and John Kaminski on October 29, 1931 in Chappell Hill, Texas. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 11, 2021, in Bellville, Texas. Emilian spent his last three years suffering from dementia at Colonial Belle Nursing Home in Bellville. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the family was not able to be with him during his last hours.

Sonia Morales 57, of Sealy, passed away on February 1, 2021.

It is with great sadness that the family of Sonia Morales announce her passing. Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She will be deeply missed.

Sonia was born in Macuelizo, Honduras November 29, 1963. She attended school in Honduras until the 9th grade.
