Jobeth Hines-Lorraine, beloved wife, mother, and friend passed away on July 3, 2022, in Katy, Texas. She was preceded in death and reunited with her loving son, Samuel Erin Hines, and her parents Lilburn Neal and Marjorie Walden. Jobeth is survived by her husband, Robert D. Lorraine; Her stepdaughters Kalie Lorraine and Kasey Lorraine; Her stepsons Robert W. Lorraine and Cody Lorraine; and her grandson Michael W. Robberson.

She was born in Malvern, Arkansas on August 23, 1953, and later moved to Illinois. Following her Junior year in High School, her family relocated to Houston, where she attended Spring Branch High School and eventually settled down in Sealy, Texas. Throughout the years, Jobeth worked for various oil and gas exploration and development companies. She loved spending time with her husband and family. Jobeth was dedicated to her family and to her Church. Time spent with her family and making memories was more precious than all else.

She loved sharing memories of her son, Samuel, and their mutual love of music. Jobeth enjoyed being outdoors, crocheting, and doing anything that would allow her to grow intellectually and spiritually and joined various groups and classes that nurtured her growth. She will be dearly missed by her family, close friends, and colleagues.

Jobeth’s Memorial Service is scheduled as follows: Friday, August 19, 2022, at 10am San Felipe United Methodist Church 201 Vincenti Guerrete San Felipe, Texas 77473
