Five Brazos FFA teams qualified for the 94th Texas FFA State Convention after top finishes at the Area XI Career Development Event earlier in April.

Three judging teams won their discipline – Wool, Dairy Cattle, Vet Science – and two more teams featured individuals who recorded standout performances – Land and Homesite Evaluation.

Top individual finishes came from Laura Durrett (1st Individual) and Hallie Pailes (5th Individual) for the Dairy Cattle team and Denise Hauer (2nd Individual), Makinzy Kneip (5th Individual) and Kaity Schneider (6th Individual) for the Vet Science team.

The Land judging team took second thanks in part to top finishes from Reid Warr (4th Individual), Kasey Zientek (5th Individual), Colton Richardson (6th Individual) and Clayton Macha (8th Individual) and Mason Vrana registered seventh individually for the Homesite Evaluation team.
