On Dec. 21, David Cryan presented a deed to Ralph Bond, treasurer of First Baptist Church of Sealy, for the property that has been leased by the Sealy Ministerial Alliance for the past 10 years at 219 Front St.

After a trio of games last week, the Sealy Tiger basketball team entered this week at 2-2 with three games left to play before the new year and three more in January before the district-opening contest in Wharton on Jan. 12.
The Sealy Lady Tiger basketball squad finished last week with only one road contest instead of two after Boling canceled the Saturday tilt but last Friday’s trip to East Bernard ended with Sealy back in the win column by a 41-36 score to move to 4-4 overall on the season.
