Wallis High School reunion April 20 The Wallis High School reunion will be held Saturday, April 20 at the Wallis American Legion Hall. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. with meal at 5:30 p.m. Tables will be arranged and decorated for each class year. This year’s 50th anniversary classes are the final WHS graduation classes of 1973 and 1974.

District champs dominate District awards

It’s a lot harder trying to distribute awards fairly when one team has completely dominated across the board. The Lady Tigers recently had several players awarded with All District honors this past week, and unsurprisingly didn’t have the entire squad recognized as Sealy’s girls went undefeated all district season for the first time in history.

Remembering the legacy of Finus Tyler

Finus Tyler, the longest living man in Sealy, passed away in the comfort of his home last week, April 2 less than nine days out from what would’ve been his 103rd birthday.
