Wilfred Henry Eckardt, 91, of Cat Spring, Texas, died Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital in Katy, Texas. Wilfred “Jim” was born Wilfred “Jim” was born September 13, 1929, in Cat Spring, Texas, the first of two children born to Henry Eckardt and Edna Weige.

Ed Marcinkiewicz was born on February 27, 1962, to Edmund and Alice (Brast) Marcinkiewicz in Bellville, Texas. He was baptized and confirmed in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. After graduating from Bellville High School in 1980, Ed attended Blinn Junior College on a band scholarship where he was also the editor of the Blinn Log. Upon receiving his Associate of Arts degree, he then transferred to Texas A&M where he received his degree in Education in 1985.

WILMA KELLNER KANTER ZIEGENBEIN

Wilma Kellner Kanter Ziegenbein, a lifelong resident of New Ulm, passed away on July 1, 2021, at the age of 105 years. She was born on April 21, 1916, the daughter of Oscar Kellner and Bertha Brettschneider Kellner. She was baptized and confirmed by Pastor Otto Lindenberg at St. John Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Wilma graduated from New Ulm High School in 1934, and then completed 12th grade at Sealy High School where she graduated in 1935.

TIMOTHY AARON WHITMORE

Timothy Aaron Whitmore passed into the loving arms of God at the young age of 35, on Saturday, June 19, 2021, in Burnet, Texas. He died while doing what he loved, kayaking. Timothy shared his final days surrounded by family and beautiful scenery. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, and friend.
