Brazos School Board works toward weight room project solution

The Brazos Independent School District board members revisited the proposed weight room and concession stand construction project at a special meeting May 25. The board had originally voted against awarding a bid for the project during a special meeting May 4, due to the $2.6 million cost of the project in the bid which had been recommended to them by a committee appointed to rank the bids received.

The City of Sealy Health Inspector has inspected the following establishments for food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and sanitary conditions. MAY 24 Sealy Food Mart, 622 HWY 90 W.: Items in walkin cooler and sales floor need to be six inches off of the floor; dusty items on the shelves must be cleaned or removed; This establishment cannot sell food due to not having Food Managing Certification; Broken machine needs to be removed.

Parents, relatives, friends and well-wishers filled the stands May 27 as the Sealy High School Class of 2022 bid farewell to one chapter of their lives and prepared to turn the page on another. The crowd cheered in excitement, showing love and appreciation for the graduates as they walked onto Mark A. Chapman Field at T.J. Mills Stadium.
