Members of the Brazos FFA Chapter traveled to Huntsville, Dec. 1, to compete in Texas FFA’s Leadership Career Development Events.

The Zythological Society of North America held their 2nd annual Brewstep 0.1K Saunter for a Cause Oct. 21. The event was very successful with over 150 participants visiting over 18 breweries over the 328 ft. course. Due to the success of the event, The Zythological Society of North America was able to donate $1,200 in proceeds to Dawn Compton and The Blessing Box Project.

A large fire broke out at The Bhagavata Academy, a local yoga retreat center off of Columbus Road Nov. 26, losing a portion of one of their buildings in the process.

Since October of this year, the Sealy Police Department has worked on three different burglaries of motor vehicle cases all occurring in the 300 block of Overcreek Way where victims had recently left a bank in the immediate area.

In 1987, six women in association with the Sealy Ministerial Alliance started the Sealy Christian Pantry with only $60 to their name. Their mission? To feed all of those in need in Sealy and Austin County.
