2nd Annual Wade King Memorial Ride & Benefit April 13 The 2nd Annual Wade King Memorial Ride and Benefit is scheduled for Saturday, April 13. This year’s event will be benefitting a family member recovering from a recent hand surgery. The event will be held at Creekmore’s Sports Bar, 3797 Hwy. 36 South in Sealy.

AUSTIN — Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Leo Vasquez and appointed Cindy Conroy to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for terms set to expire on Jan. 31, 2029 and Jan. 31, 2027, respectively. TDHCA is responsible for promoting and preserving homeownership, financing the development of affordable rental housing, supporting community and energy assistance programs, and other functions.
