Quilt Guild donates to SFD

The Sealy Cotton Bolt Quilt Guild donated six quilts to the Sealy Fire Department. The quilt tops were pieced by the late Grace Holtcamp and quilting and finished by members of the Guild. Free meals in Austin County throughout Thanksgiving week

The holiday season is officially in full effect in Austin County, and as families prepare for the busy day ahead, it’s important to remember that not every person is fortunate enough to afford a Thanksgiving feast, let alone a meal in general.  

Given that Thanksgiving is known as the day of “giving,” here are two places in Austin County that will be handing out free meals throughout the week of Thanksgiving to anyone in need.
