The legal status of cannabis in Texas is mixed. It is one of 19 states that jails individuals for the possession of small amounts of cannabis and one of 12 states that does not have a comprehensive medical cannabis law.

Electric utilities are doing something equivalent to a person changing clothes without getting naked. They can’t shut down while they switch out old plants for new; they can’t turn off the lights while they retool.

To The Editor, In response to the op-ed of March 21. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion because this is still a free nation through our Constitutional Republic document of The Constitution.

Every holiday season marks a time when people are swept up in the spirit of giving. Unfortunately, the Biden administration remains oblivious to the fact that our nation’s feelings of generosity do not extend to handing over some of our most valuable American-made intellectual property to foreign competitors.
