Welding project takes shape

Sealy FFA members and Welding II students are building crosses for a community service project involving Sealy FFA and St Johns Lutheran church in Cat Spring. The crosses will replace more than 50 grave markers in the church’s cemetery that currently do not have markers or have old damaged markers. Most of the grave sites are very old and in the baby / child section of the cemetery. Pictured is one of Sealy’s FFA certified welders Sixtos Alvarado working on the project.
