Stephanie (Marro) Griffin passed away Monday Dec. 5, 2016 at her home in Cat Spring, Texas. She was the daughter of Deanna Ling and James Marro, and great- granddaughter of Lela and Earl Wolchik.
Stephanie passed away at a real young age of 30 after being ill for a while. She had just turned 30 on Nov. 4, 2016.
She loved fishing on the family’s farm and raising her baby calves, which was what
Popo Earl wanted. She enjoyed reading “Harry Potter” novels and loved to entertain children. She enjoyed going square dancing with Mammaw and Popo.
Her mom was her best friend.
Stephanie is survived by husband James Griffin; mother, Deanna Ling and husband Neil; father, James Marro and wife De Etta; brother, Eric Marro, nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles Steve Marro, Chris and Shelia Marro, Robert and Debbie Kent, Bradley and Maggie Kent, Christopher Kent; grandmother, Freida Marro; step-grandfather Al Gene Kluna; and several cousins.
Preceded in death by grandparentsm, Raymond Marro and Helen Kluna, and great-grandparents Earl and Lela Mae Wolchik.
Funeral service was held on Dec. 10, 2016 at Knesek Funeral Chapel, Bellville, Texas, at 10 a.m. Visitation was held on Dec. 9, 2016 at Knesek Funeral Chapel from 5-7 p.m. Interment at St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery, Cat Spring, Texas. Officiating the service was Pastor Andrew Bell of St. John Lutheran Church in Bellville.
Arrangements were under the direction of Knesek Funeral Chapel Bellville, Texas.
