Sealy head baseball coach Dane Bennett announced Tuesday afternoon that the Sealy baseball program will be holding an alumni game next Thursday, June 18, at 7 p.m. at B&PW Park.
Bennett said that many former players who are still in the college ranks have returned home and have been looking for ways to continue getting reps in the offseason.
“High school players and any alumni who would like to come out are more than welcome,” Bennett said in a June 9 phone interview.
With UIL restrictions in place, Bennett said the game could not be played at the Tigers’ home field, Aubrey “Mutt” Stuessel Stadium, but the community fields at B&PW Park were eligible for use.
Any interested players are encouraged to show up to the fields before 7 p.m. for warmups and reintroductions.
