In loving memory of Rhett Francis Lieb.
Rhett Francis Lieb passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his parents Jan. 16, 2019, at 6:55 p.m. He was born Jan. 14, 2019 at 6:29 p.m. at Texas Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Houston. He weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces and was 19.25 inches long.
He was the son of Ben and Amy Lieb of Sealy.
Rhett suffered from Critical Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He gave us a lifetime of love in his brief time on earth. He experienced holding hands with his mommy and daddy, hugs and kisses from his big brother and family, endless cuddling, and being told “I love you” an uncountable amount of times.
He is survived by his parents, Ben and Amy, and brother Weston Lieb; and his grandparents Randy and Rowena Lieb of Woodville and Edward and Karen Lopez of Houston.
Rhett was met in heaven by his great-grandfathers Johnny Gilbert and John Lopez, uncles Mikeal Gilbert and John R. Lopez.
No service was held, just a simple prayer as he passed. “The peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts.”—Phil. 4:7.
Special thank you to Jessica Al-khalifah with Shutter Envy Photography for capturing every moment of Rhett’s birthday. Also, to Dr. Karolina Adam and all the doctors, nurses and Pediatric Acute Care unit at Texas Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
Although no words can accurately memorialize his life, knowing that he touched so many gives our family peace.
