Michael, like his mother, was an avid Sealy Tigers Football fan. They had the same reserved seats for many years. He enjoyed going to the deer lease camp and road trips to the hill country, always reminding his wife about eating hot links and drinking Big Red at the picnic spot with his mother and grandparents. He loved to play dominoes, especially with his Uncle Walter who always called him “Hollywood”. He loved his many friends and attending Sealy community events and never missed the Austin County Fair.
He also loved his chocolate lab, Rowdy, who was a wedding gift and swore he heard him in the barn months after he passed. Michael was a longtime member and volunteer at Peter’s Hall Mother’s Day celebration, and followed in his grandfather’s and father’s footsteps as a volunteer for the Sealy Volunteer Fire Department for 10 years.
“Uncle Mikey” was extremely proud of his nephew Colten and his service in the U.S. Navy and loved him dearly.
Michael, Uncle Mikey, Hollywood, Mike, Mr. Sealy, will be missed by his family and many friends. In memory of Michael, friends may donate to the Austin County Fair Association, Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 141, Bellville, Texas 77418.
