Grace Lorraine Sklar, 82, of Sealy, Texas passed away Feb. 14, 2019. She was born June 18, 1936 in Sheldon, Texas, the daughter of Charlie and Ruthie Pate.
Bobby and Grace shared 46 beautiful years together During that time they worked side by side in the horse racing industry. Grace always looked forward to spending time with family and friends whether it be Thanksgiving or Christmas dinners, backyard barbecues, fish fries, steak night or the numerous church bazaars they attended.
She enjoyed their time in Port O’Connor where they rode around town looking at the sites, watching the barges on the Intercoastal waterway, or just her quiet time sitting on the porch. She also liked watching the deer from the porch at daughter and son-in-law’s home in Kingsland.
