Frankie Walter Peters, 81, of Sealy, Frankie Walter Peters passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 in Houston Texas. Frankie was born October 8, 1934 in Burleigh Texas. He was the only son of Joe and Ella Peters. Frankie had four sisters—Betty, Geraldine, Joyce, and Alice. Frankie attended Bellville High School and served in the U. S. Army from 1958 to 1960 in Korea. On February 28, 1960 he married Jean Hintz at the Methodist Church in Sealy Texas. As a young boy, Frankie always had a love for animals and at the age of sixteen he was proud to show a calf at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. This love for animals carried on throughout his life of being a farmer and rancher and always having cows to feed. Frankie was a hard and dedicated worker who loved to both tell jokes and have in depth conversation with people. Funeral services were held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Knesek Bros. Hwy 36 Chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Curtis Matthys officiating. Interment was in the Sealy Cemetery. Pallbearers were Allen Abel, Greg Luhn, Eddie Schovajsa, Doug Todd, James Macha and John Schmitt.
