Blue and Gold Fishing Tournament
The Garbs pulled an 8.13-pound bass and 19 pounds of stringers to take first place at the inaugural Blue and Gold Fishing Tournament last Sunday at Creekmore’s in Sealy.
This trio from Waller took second place overall with 19.01 pounds of stringers, a seven-pound bass and 5.08-pound catfish.
The Reichardts grabbed third overall thanks to the biggest bass caught at 9.02 pounds, 15.08 pounds of stringers and an 11.02-pound catfish, the second biggest one on the day.
The Ashorn brothers took home the title of heaviest catfish, weighing in at 15.06 pounds.
The inaugural Blue and Gold Fishing Tournament saw plenty of fish hauled out of the lake for weighing and measuring to see who pulled the heaviest swimmers.
