Ellen Reichardt Wible, born on Feb. 14, 1952, joined our Father in Heaven at the age of 64 at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, after battling pneumonia and sepsis at CHI St. Joseph Health in Bellville, Texas.
Ellen attended the Bernardo School and graduated from Sealy High School before attending cosmetology school in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She first worked as a cosmetologist at Sakowitz in Houston, Texas, before fulfilling a career at Neiman Marcus. She retired in July of 2016 to her grandparents’ homestead, The Hinkel Ranch, in Cat Spring, Texas, where she loved to spend time outdoors in her vegetable and flower gardens. A believer in Christ Jesus, she always spread love, put other’s needs above her own, never had a negative thing to say about anybody. May her spirit shine brightly in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Ellie Mae Reichardt, and she is survived by her husband, Don Wible of Cat Spring, Texas; his two sons, Chad Wible of Midland, Texas and Brad Wible, his wife Stefanie and their two children Wrenlee (4) and Logan (2) of Buda, Texas; and her brother Roland Reichardt and his wife Cyndi of Sealy, Texas.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, at the St. John Lutheran Church in Cat Spring where Ellen and her mother used to receive God’s Word together. Rev. Kevin Haug officiating. Interment at Cat Spring Cemetery (Poinsettia Road).
