EEA receives lesson in emergency management

The Extension Education Association of Austin County, which is a direct part of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, sponsored an educational program entitled “Emergency Management – What to do when it counts!” at the Texas AgriLife Extension Service office in Bellville.

The program was presented by Ray Chislett of the Austin County Community Emergency Response Team. Those in attendance were taught how to correctly respond in the case of emergency, which included an array of situations and circumstances.

The goal of the educational program was to inform the community and Chislett accomplished every aspect of it.  For more information, contact Michelle Allen, County Extension Agent -Family and Consumer Sciences, at 979-865-2078.
